Sentinel's Lead-Specific Cleaners and Envirotowels meet definitions outlined in USEPA Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule
Under this rule, beginning in April 2010, contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.
Sentinel's lead dust wipes, and 805 Envirowash meet USEPA Title, 40, Part 745 definitions and satisfy the work practice standards outlined in the RRP rule. Our products are lead-specific, and are also available in Non-Phosphate (NP) formulas for use in states that restrict the use of phosphates or in situations where a non-phosphate product is preferred.
Sentinel's Envirotowels (ET products) are also available in a hand-safe (HS) version for use in cleaning tools and hands on jobs where water may not be readily available for use.
