As environmental regulations are constantly changing, we continue to monitor the status of new regulations in each state and make a compliant product available in these states as new rules become effective. (Typically, a sell-through period is available for distributors to sell remaining inventories of non-compliant products prior to new rules being enforced.)

As the movement towards more environmentally-friendly products continues to grow, state, regional, and national government agencies continue to introduce new legislation limiting the use of certain cleaning and adhesive removal products. VOC and CARB are among these. VOC and CARB-compliant products are manufactured to meet or exceed the Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) requirements set forth by the California Air Resource Board (CARB).
At Sentinel, we have long been on the cutting-edge of making compliant products available to their distributors and retailers in states that currently enforce Consumer Product V.O.C. regulations for floor and wall adhesive removers.
As discussed above, VOC and CARB compliant products are manufactured to meet or exceed the Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) requirements set forth by the California Air Resource Board (CARB). This same standard is also being enforced in states that belong to the Ozone Transport Commission (OTC).
